Terrance McGovern – Managing Director, Numoda Capital
Innovations
Terrance McGovern leads Numoda Capital Innovations as Managing
Director. Terry is a senior investment banking and venture professional
with over 20 years’ experience in biotechnology and healthcare
transactions nationwide. He has managed over 200 mergers, acquisitions,
financings, strategic advisory transactions and early stage investments.
Founder and former Managing Partner of Crystal Cove Capital LLC,
his experience includes senior investment banking positions with
CIBC, Duff & Phelps,
and BMO Capital Markets. Terry is a graduate of Georgetown University, Rutgers
University and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and holds
Masters degrees in Physiology and Finance.
Patrick J. Keenan – Chief Counsel and Strategist
Patrick J. Keenan completed his B.A. with honors in 1985 from Stockton
College and received his Juris Doctorate in 1988 from Rutgers
School of Law. Patrick is also a graduate of the Temple University
Academy of Trial Advocacy. He was admitted to the bar in 1988
in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, the U.S. District Courts for
the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and New Jersey, and the
U.S. Court of Appeals, Third Circuit. Patrick is a Member of
the Philadelphia and Pennsylvania Bar Associations; the Philadelphia
Trial Lawyers Association; the American Intellectual Property
Law Association; and the Association of University Technology
Managers, and listed among Pennsylvania Super Lawyers.
Mary Schaheen – Chief Executive Officer, Numoda Corporation
Mary Schaheen is an accomplished business executive with deep experience
in integration and product commercialization spanning 25 years
in business, 15 as a senior executive. Mary has served as the
Numoda Corporation CEO since 2000. Since joining Numoda, she
has grown Numoda into a global life sciences company and led
the creation of affiliate companies Numoda Technologies and Numoda
Capital Innovations. Under Mary’s direction, Numoda Corporate
Group has begun strategic investing with clients to further their
product commercialization goals. Recognized for her expertise
in the life sciences industry, Mary has cultivated, with Numoda,
over 3000 C-level and senior contacts among life science companies.
She lectures extensively, most recently as keynote speaker highlighting
exit opportunities, at a private meeting for CEOs of a group
of portfolio companies.

Lester Crawford, MD
Dr. Crawford is the former Commissioner of the United States Food
and Drug Administration (FDA). Previously, Dr. Crawford was Chair
of the Department of Physiology-Pharmacology at the University
of Georgia, Administrator of the Food Safety and Inspection Service
(USDA) and Deputy Commissioner of FDA. From 1997-2002, he was
Director of the Center for Food and Nutrition Policy at Georgetown
University and at Virginia Tech. Dr. Crawford also served
as Administrator of the Food Safety and Inspection Service (United
States Department of Agriculture) from 1987 to 1991 as well as
director of the FDA's Center for Veterinary Medicine from 1978
to 1980, and again from 1982 to 1985.
Jordan Schreiber,
CFA
Mr. Schreiber has more than 30 years of investment experience. In
addition to being a Chartered Financial Analyst, Mr. Schreiber
holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Ph.D. from New
York University. He is a member of the New York Society of Security
Analysts and a member and former president of the Health Care Analyst
Group of New York. Mr. Schreiber has led the portfolio management
team of the Merrill Lynch Healthcare Fund since 1990. Prior
to 1990, he co-managed that fund's predecessor, the Merrill Lynch
SCI/TECH Fund.
Philip P. Gerbino, PharmD
Dr. Gerbino serves as the President at Arrow Prescription University
of the Centers, Health ATOZ Sciences, (School of Pharmacy) since
1995. Dr. Gerbino is President of University of the Sciences
in Philadelphia, which includes the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy,
Misher College of Arts and Sciences, the College of Health Sciences,
and the College of Graduate Studies. He has been part of the
faculty and administration of that institution for over 25 years.
Prior to being named President, he served as the Dean of the
School of Pharmacy and as Vice President for academic affairs.
In addition, he is a national leader in the pharmacy field and
has served as the President of the American Pharmaceutical Association
in 1990, the President of the APhA Academy of Pharmacy Practice
from 1986 to 1987, a Member of the U.S. Pharmacopeial Advisory
Panel on Geriatrics, and as the Chair of the Commission for Certification
in Geriatric Pharmacy.
Gregory K. Frykman, MD, Cleveland Clinic
Scientific, medical and regulatory expertise in cancer therapies. Medical
reviewer for Division of Oncology Drug Products and Center for
Biologics at the FDA. Bachelor’s degree in Physics, a Medical Doctorate,
Internal Medicine residency and Medical Oncology fellowship at
the Johns Hopkins University. Trained in Developmental Therapeutics
at the National Cancer Institute. ABIM board certified in Internal
Medicine, Hematology and Medical Oncology.
Todd Plott, MD
Involved in 9 different development programs that have received
approval by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and other
international regulatory agencies. Five of these programs were
personally led and supervised by Dr. Plott from initiation through
approval. Former CMO at Revance Therapeutics; VP Clinical Research
and Regulatory Affairs at Medicis Pharmaceuticals; Director at
Schering-Plough.
Stefan Loren, Ph.D., Westwicke Partners
Wall Street experience, both the buy- and sell-sides. Analyst/Portfolio
Manager with hedge fund, Perceptive Advisors and MTB investment
Advisors in biotech, specialty pharma, life science-tools, health
care service and chemistry outsourcing. Managing Director,
Legg Mason. His “Select List” picks returned an average 118%
upside, and beat the Nasdaq Biotechology and S&P indicies in
6 of 6 years. At Abbott Laboratories Advanced Technologies
Division, integrated new technological advances. At Scripps Research
Institute, worked with Nobel Laureate K. Barry Sharpless. Received
a doctorate in Organic/Pharm. Chemistry from the UC Berkeley and
a B.S. degree in Chemistry from UCSD. Featured in Scientific American,
